2024 Big 6 Trip

Eight lucky draw challengers to compete for the annual Rheem Big 6 Challenge headed to Fiordland for seven days of hunting and fishing in October 2024. The goal was to score as many points as possible by competing in 6 challenges over the course of the trip, from catching the biggest fish, tracking down the most species, grabbing the biggest crayfish, and bringing a deer onboard.

A massive congratulations to Ross McWhirter of RM Plumbing! Ross powered his way to the top of the leaderboard, clinching victory by taking out the target shooting challenge and landing the widest variety of fish species on the trip (six in total!). His determination and skill earned him the honour of being crowned the 2024 Rheem Big Six Champion.

2023 Big 6 Trip

What a weekend for the 2023 Rheem Big Six Challenge winner Nathan Stewart of Precision Group Wellington and his son Harry! Our first father-son challenge duo surpassed expectations, bagging 6 out of 6 targets in just 31 hours. Congrats lads!

Winner of the 2022 Big 6, Phil Smith took out 5 of the 6 animals on his challenge adventure. Fantastic work!

Congratulations to the 2021 Big 6 Winner - Brent Palmer from Te Awamutu bagged all 6 in 45 hours for his challenge – he is the second person in 11 years to achieve this amazing feat!
