Rheem partners with Kiwis for kiwi to help save New Zealand’s national bird
Rheem New Zealand Ltd is excited to announce a new partnership with national charity, Kiwis for kiwi.
Kiwis for kiwi works to educate communities, protect and increase native kiwi numbers throughout the country. With the help of well-known ambassadors, such as Rachel Hunter and Sir Graham Henry, the organisation raises funds for kiwi incubation facilities, creating education programmes and its ongoing work to protect kiwi habitats.
Rheem has been an iconic manufacturing brand in New Zealand for over 60 years and collaborating with Kiwis for kiwi to grow our iconic kiwi population is a way of giving back to our community.
"We are excited to be able to support such a great organisation and we believe our customers will be delighted to know that when they choose a Rheem water heating product they are helping to protect the future of kiwi" says Steve Bullock, General Manager of Rheem.
Our partnership will also include providing hot water systems for incubation facilities such as the Crombie Lockwood Kiwi Burrow near Taupo which opens in October and will process more than 200 kiwi eggs annually.
